Thoughtfully designed for families, couples, and small groups, this custom coastal cottage proves that great things come in small spaces. Every detail has been carefully curated to create a relaxing, elevated stay where everything you need is already waiting for you- just minutes from Cape May, Wildwood, and a short walk to the Delaware Bay. We can't wait to host you! The space Located just a 5–7 minute walk to the Delaware Bay, you'll spend your mornings watching breathtaking sunsets (and yes- the bay sunsets really are as beautiful as everyone says), grabbing coffee from the neighborhood café, or taking a short stroll for ice cream and dinner at nearby local favorites. When you're ready for a beach day, Cape May and the Wildwoods are both only about 15 minutes away, giving you the best of both worlds- quiet coastal living with easy access to the area's most popular destinations. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a girls' getaway, or simply looking for a slower pace for a few days, Sea Scout Cottage was designed to help you settle in immediately. Inside the Cottage Sea Scout Cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The bedrooms are small but functional- we recommend storing large bags and suitcases in the laundry/mudroom. A Kitchen Designed for Vacation While intentionally compact, the kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped for everything from pancake breakfasts to family dinners. The covered back porch offers comfortable lounge seating and outdoor dining overlooking a spacious backyard designed for slow evenings together. With hot water and complete privacy, it's become one of the most talked-about features across our cottages. Everything You Need for the Beach One thing you'll quickly notice about staying with Sea Haven... We believe vacation should actually feel like a vacation. That's why we provide many of the items guests usually end up packing themselves. We know vacations are even better when your four-legged family members can come along. Sea Scout Cottage is dog friendly and welcomes up to two well-trained, housebroken dogs (75 lbs. combined maximum) with a $200 pet fee per stay. The pet fee covers the convenience of traveling with your dog but does not include excessive cleaning or damage. Any additional cleaning or repairs resulting from your pet's stay will be assessed separately if needed. A few things to know before you book: 🐶 Dogs only (maximum of 2) 🦴 75 lbs. combined weight limit 🏡 Pets should not be left unattended in the home unless securely crated. 🌿 The backyard is partially fenced (fenced on three sides but not fully enclosed—there are no gates), so dogs should always be supervised outdoors. 🌅 The nearby Delaware Bay beaches are dog friendly and just a short walk away. Dogs are required to be leashed, and we recommend checking Lower Township's current dog ordinances before your visit, as local regulations may change. Our goal is to provide a relaxing stay for every guest- both two-legged and four-legged—and we appreciate your help in caring for our home as if it were your own. We can't wait to host you. **Rental Policies – Know Before You Book** We believe in transparency to ensure your vacation experience aligns with our home’s expectations. Our rental is perfect for families and responsible groups looking for a relaxing getaway—but it is not suitable for large parties or events which violates local rental ordinances. Please review our policies carefully before booking to ensure our home is the right fit for your stay. - Minimum Age Requirement: The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. A signed rental agreement and photo ID upload are required prior to your stay. - No Party Groups: We do not accept bookings for proms, high school groups, college groups, or spring break travelers. - Accurate Guest Representation: If your group misrepresents itself, your rental agreement will be voided, and you will forfeit all payments. - Registered Guests Only: The rental property is exclusively for guests listed in the agreement—**no outside visitors allowed. - Smoke-Free Home: This is a 100% smoke-free property indoors. Any evidence of smoking will result in the loss of your security deposit or $750 charge. -The Cape May area is full of nature. Our homes are treated monthly for all forms of pests. With that said we do NOT refund for mosquitos, ants or fruit flies which are common to our area in the summer months. Please be sure to keep doors closed and window screens in place. If you spot a bug, notify us immediately and we will have our pest control team out to the property. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. Thank you for respecting our home!
